Primary purpose of job
Contribute to QP’s strategic goals to maximize the value generated from Qatar’s resources through its Downstream
Facilities by reviewing and analyzing downstream facilities performance, Identifying opportunities to improve performance,
monitoring the execution of improvement plans and supporting Assistant manager in his role as Asset manager and his
engagement with QP senior management and JV board members.
Experience & Skills
1. Minimum of 15 years of broad• based relevant industrial experience required, in an operational environment, preferably
in plant management with at least a direct exposure to commercial and business development activities.
2. Experience in discounted cash flow valuation methods and metrics such as NPV, IRR & financial metrics such as ROCE
3. Strong communication skills and proven decision making and problem solving skills. Good command of the English
language is essential, both written and verbal.
4. Strong negotiations and interpersonal skills are required
5. Personal attributes: resilience, ability to deliver under pressure, learning attitude, ability to give and handle feedback,
visibly subscribe to QP values
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering is required. Higher academic qualification is preferred
