The Role
- Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the warehouse. – Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the warehouse. – Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports, requisition forms, and delivery notes are filed and stored properly. – Responsible to verify all goods arriving at the store are in good condition, as per the associated invoice/packing list, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received. – Responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the warehousing facility. – Responsible for release of goods from the warehouse to clients or internal logistic team based on proper documentation (delivery note) received from the head offices. – Responsible for maintaining inventory in mint condition and reporting any and all damage to senior management.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate in English. – Must be able to read/write and maintain documents in an organized manner. – A minimum of 1 year of experience working within a store/warehouse is required. – Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom – Receive, unload, and load incoming goods properly. – Must be able to perform other stock-related duties packing and labeling supplies – Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to senior management.
