Job Description
- Handling finance related tasks including preparation of banking documentation for import / export letter of credit (LC) and collection bills, SBLC and BG
- Process daily export / collection bills to be sent to banks for negotiation / presentation
- Follow up on export / collection bills discrepancies, acceptance payment and any disputes
- Processing of import bills and its settlements
- Process accounting data entries into accounting system
- Attend to queries from banks & trading departments
- Reconciliation of charges
- Assist the finance team in ad-hoc task when required
- MIS reporting
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma in Accounting
- Possess minimum 1-3 year Trade Finance experience
- Prior experience in banking documentation, export LC documentation, collection bills & banker’s guarantee
- Hands-on knowledge of letter of credits and INCOTERMS
- Knowledge of the latest UCP and ISBP will be advantageous
- Knowledge in accounting & bank reconciliation will be advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate user of MS Excel)
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Fluent n English
- UAE driving license
