ENGINEERING DOCUMENTATION CONROLLER – AVIATION
PERMANENT – OMAN
Our client, based in OMAN, urgently require skilled Engineering Document Controllers for their ongoing operation based in Oman.
The successful candidates should have the following skill set:-
An aircraft Engineer / Technician Mechanical or Avionics, with minimum of ten (10) experience in aviation
- Review and update of engineering publications issued by the Directorate of Engineering and Engineering Regulatory Authority (ERA).
- Publishes Aviation Regulations, Engineering Policy and Engineering Documentation online (on a Intranet). These publications and forms are essential to the airworthiness and engineering management of all customer aircraft.
- All documents are standardised in format and produced, and content managed using Microsoft Word. They are currently published using Adobe Acrobat.
- Referencing between Regulations, Policy and Forms is carefully controlled and currently in Adobe Acrobat published products these references are hyperlinked to allow movement between publications.
- A high level of Technical English competence.
- Experience in the authoring of technical publications.
- High level of expertise in the use of Microsoft Office. Expertise in the structural design and management of large formal publications, enabling change management and hyperlinking within and between documents.
- Experience in the use of Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Preferred experience in the use of Adobe Frame maker.
- Preferred experience in aircraft engineering or aircraft engineering management.
This post is for someone who wants to join a small, experienced team of engineers delivering significant change to the client.
