The main responsibility of the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager is to support our direct and indirect channels in order to optimize their presence, hit rate and reach their full potential. The role will work closely with our partners and key customers in the market to ensure full support and coverage for all our portable air product ranges.
The expectation is that this new role will bring better customer focus and revenue growth in Oman and Qatar.
This role is also responsible for developing marketing strategies and undertaking dealer management and product training as required.
This position reports to the Regional Business Line Manager APE – Middle East.
Essential Job Functions
- Determine direct and indirect customers’ requirements by undertaking the research needed to ensure reaching the full potential in the region.
- Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specification and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Support dealers (AC & CP) to develop comprehensive strategies and business plans, that would lead to growth in presence and hit rate in the region.
- Act as first line support to dealers and key customers on all their inquiries and follow up internally with all related parties until fully resolved.
- Assess market competition by comparing the company’ product to competitors’ products. Provide recommendations to increase market share
- Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Obtain product market share by working with Regional Business Line Manager to develop product sales strategies.
- Assess product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
- Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests.
- Facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and forecasting to support production schedules.
- Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing and communication teams.
- Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume and costing special and customized orders.
- Implementation of new technologies / applications on digitalization to increase leads generation.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge, work proactively to ensure best actions implemented according to the market situation.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports as required by management.
- Regular and timely dealer product training.
- Any other duties as directed by management.

What we expect of you?
- University degree in related field (preferably Engineering, Marketing, Business Management).
- Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, industrial).
- Technical know-how and marketing knowledge. Ability to present technical and commercial ideas and concepts.
- High level of analytical and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English communication (written and verbal), Arabic is a plus.
- At least five (5) years working experience in a related field.
- Industrial sales experience and distributor management and development.
- Driving license.
