Reporting to the Head of Senior School, we are seeking an outstanding, committed and energetic Deputy Head (Pastoral) to join The British School of Bahrain starting in August 2023. The candidate must be a team player and must have a passion to achieve the highest levels of learning and a culture of excellence for themselves and their students.

The successful candidate will be experienced in leading a team of colleagues, whilst overseeing behaviour, attendance, learning support, and pastoral issues for students across the senior school. They will also work with the Deputy Head (Academic) to monitor the academic performance of students. to highly motivated and talented students striving for places at some of the world’s top Universities. He/she will ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the varying learning and social needs of the children in accordance with the school requirements; and ensure that all subjects to be taught provide coverage, progression and continuity.
