Full Job Description
The Discharge Agent shall be responsible for providing an effective and responsive customer service to all patients. Performs all billing activities related to operations/operating rooms and verifies if the amount is correctly entered in the Hospital Information System. Performs follow up on insured patients with the Insurance Office and ensures the approval sent to the Insurance Office tallies with the final amount due by the Insurance company. Responsible to make follow up with patients for any outstanding bills and ensures all outstanding bills are being paid in a timely manner.
