  • Duties

    • Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the assigned civilian, military, and contractor HUMINT Desk.
    • Serves as Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Operations Division Chief for Combined Joint Task Force.
    • Represents CJTF-OIR in coordination with DoD and Intelligence Community HUMINT entities.

    Requirements

    Conditions of Employment

    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
    • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
    • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
    • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
    • This position is designated as emergency-essential (E-E). (See Additional Information)
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI)
    • Emergency Essential employees must be exempted from military mobilization or recall obligations by being placed in the Standby Reserve or other appropriate action. (See Additional Information).
    • This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
    • A medical examination and immunization screening are required.
    • This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. (See Additional Information).
    • Position may require employee to wear uniform and/or protective clothing.
    • Will be expected to live in field or austere conditions.
    • May be required to work irregular shifts/hours
    • Must successfully complete all required certification courses and training for the discipline, position, and grade as directed must be a graduate of FTC/MOTC/OTC or DoD Military Source Operations Category I certifying course of instructions.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialize experience is defined and experience which HUMINT Operations, Staff Management, Mission Planning and Training. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.

    Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
