Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.The Food Service Worker position is responsible for prepping and serving food to our residents ensuring they have adequate nutrition.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Serves nutritious meals to our residents
- Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils and ensures they are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Learns to prepare items for residents and ensures proper stocks levels are maintained for kitchen areas assigned

This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof of vaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.
