This Fashion Buyer would be supporting the CEO/Founder and completing any ad hoc projects. Having a high level of comfort with Excel is a must, as the person in this role will be using it daily. The Fashion Buyer will be an aid in all operational functions, provide any product knowledge to the team, track receipts and shipments, and communicate with vendors.
Responsibilities Of The Remote Assistant Buyer
- Work remotely, handling phone calls and incoming emails with vendors
- Update purchase orders
- Work effectively and efficiently in a super-fast paced environment
- Be up-to date on the current fashion trends in the Middle East
- Have Fashion and material through knowledge
- Ability to travel frequently
Qualifications For The Fashion Buyer
- Sharp communication skills
- Excel proficiency is a must (pivot tables and v-lookups)
- Must have a sense of urgency, lots of deadlines
- Exposure to fashion/retail is necessary
- Passion for growth and self-motivators needed
- Must be able to work remotely on PST hours
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
